Full Time Event Setup Associate

Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup / Installation:
-Setting up floral arrangements, decorations, and other event-related items according to the client's specifications and design plans.
-Installing floral displays, including centerpieces, bouquets, and other arrangements, at event venues such as wedding halls, conference centers, and hotels.
-Ensure all installation materials and clean up is conducted prior to the start of an event.
-Maintaining and refreshing floral arrangements as needed throughout the event to ensure they remain vibrant and appealing.
Handling Flowers:
-Handling, preparing, and arranging fresh flowers, foliage, and other decorative elements with care to ensure they look their best throughout the event.
Transportation:
-Safely transporting floral arrangements and materials to and from event venues, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
-Adherence to all laws and guidelines for transportation and vehicle operation.
Coordination:
-Collaborating with event planners, decorators, and other staff members to ensure seamless execution of event setup and installation.
-Communicating feedback, concerns, and challenges in a timely manner.
-Documenting installation standards by sending pictures to the Event Sales Planner responsible for the event.
Attention to Detail:
-Paying close attention to detail to ensure all floral arrangements are executed accurately and meet the client's expectations.
-Completing required client binder tasks within established timeframes.
Time Management:
-Efficiently managing time to complete setup and installation tasks within designated timelines and deadlines.
-Following established schedules, reporting to work on time, and following payroll guidelines and expectations.
Brand Representation:
-Providing excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the floral arrangements.
-Upholding a professional demeanor at all times, both on-site at events and during interactions with clients and colleagues, to enhance the reputation and credibility of the brand.
-Following established dress code guidelines to ensure appearance is professional and represents the brand at all times.
Maintenance / Cleanup:
-Assisting with post-event cleanup, including dismantling floral displays, packing up materials, and leaving the venue in its original condition.
-Discarding of perishable products once an event has concluded.
-Conducting hardgoods inventory checklists to ensure all inventory items have been returned.
- Ensuring hardgoods quality is maintained through spot checks and conducting maintenance such as painting, sanding, wax removal, and repair.
-Communicating all damaged inventory items to leadership to determine if replacement is needed.
- Regularly cleaning and organizing warehouse facilities and inventory to ensure a clean and well organized work environment.
- Assisting with building opportunities such as arches, backdrops, and other display elements as needed.
-Ensuring all fleet vehicles used during the event have been returned with a full tank of gas and free of trash and debris.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in event setup, floral arrangements, and venue setup is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and vendors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by client events.
- Passion for creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding client expectations in both wedding and corporate settings.
Education:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
